A BREAD THAT CONSISTS OF AROUND 80 PERCENT FRUIT.
As the name suggests, not only pears, but also dried figs, plums, apple slices, sultanas and walnuts. Fruity and sweet in taste, pear slice bread aids digestion. As the half-white bread only accounts for just under a fifth, the bread has a long shelf life. A recommendation for enjoyment: plain or finely sliced with Ziger (whey cheese) from the village dairy.
